"The text of an address on aspects of the CSM which was accompanied by the performance of six in concert. The choicest remarks deal with the history of musical study of the CSM in the last two centuries, in which the Arabist theory comes off poorly. Readers should note that on p. 293 the name Menéndez Pidal is an error for Menéndez Pelayo, and that Alfonso became king in 1252, not 1232 (p. 294)."
