This is not a Marian miracle, but medieval compilers sometimes included it in collections of the Virgin’s miracles (e.g. Herolt, no. 45; John of Garland, no. 53; Vincent of Beauvais, 22, 92). In some versions, the miracle involves an image of the Virgin and Child, rather than that of Christ (e.g. Paris, BN, 5268, f. 27r).
