Summary: How, a year after his death, he [the Prior] appeared to the Sacristan, calling out to him, ‘Frater Hucberte’; and how he said that, till now, he had been suffering in a region, the Prince of which was called ‘Smirna’; but that the Virgin, whose Hours he had always chanted, had passed by the place, and seem him there, and led him to a place of happiness (II, 607).
