B with a strongly-argued case for seeing in Alfonso's lexicon reflections of specific poetic practices advocated in contemporary artes. Thus, 'entendimento' corresponds to 'intellectio', 'razon' to 'dispositio', and 'ben trobar' to 'inventio'. Seen in this light, Pr. B becomes a mini ars poetica for the CSM.
