"This third volume [see 1986, 1988] completes Castalia's republication of Mettmann's Coimbra edition (1959-72) of the CSM. The MS Index for these cantigas is included, and there is a a further supplement to the select bibliography. Mettmann began with vol. 2 an expanded selection of correspondences of Alfonso's compositions with those in other Marian compilations, and he here supplements the data for vol. I's 1-100. A short but useful glossary rounds out the edition." |
