Snow 2007: "Pp. 275-82 ("El rey poeta") treat of Alfonso's poetry in a panoramic, descriptive way. While G.J. is correct in attributing to Alfonso the thematic unity of the CSM, I urge caution to his Mettmann-inspired view that Airas Nunes is responsible for its stylistic unity. Far too little is known still of the active role of Nunes as one of Alfonso's possible collaborators." |
