Commentary:
Notes from Snow 1977rn"K. shows that a generally faithful Castilian verse rendering of cantiga 10 lies concealed among the prose summaries of the first 25 cantigas (see Keller and Linker [1974]). A possible reason (not suggested by K.) for this solitary verse rendering is that, while prose accounts of miracles were available as precedents for the summaries of the other cantigas, this was not the case with this lyric of praise."
