Comments on a note linking "Elisabetta regina" to the musical culture of Alfonso X and a sight of an Alfonsine MS with musical notation. Speculates that Isabel of Portugal and/or Isabel la Católica may have had an unknown copy of a CSM manuscript, which could have been passed to Naples via Aragon or to Rome.
