Snow 2007: "Rennert has carefully scrutinized the Academy ed. of the CSM and offers a summary of Galician-Portuguese forms (adjectives, articles, verbs, numerals, pronouns, adverbs, etc.) and orthographic features (21-30). He finds that they vary little from those found in five docs from Lugo dated between 1295 and 1374 and uses them as a base for the correction of the Macías texts and fragments he prints here. Rubecamp's 1930 Hamburg diss. was to confirm later the literary conservatism — noted here — in Galician docs and in Alfonso's CSM at a time when Galician was gradually distinguishing itself from Portuguese." |
