The survey of the CSM deals with iambs, trochees, anapests, dactyls, both masculine and feminine endings, long and short lines, and types of verse and metrical combinations. The conclusion is that Alfonso is closer to Latin hymnody than to traditional Spanish prosodic patterns." |
