Snow 1977, no. 234: "Long but padded with brief biographical sketches, plot summaries, etc. The author, who uses the Ebro ed. of Berceo and Solalinde's anthology of Alfonso (1922, 1941), has no real room to work in as so few of the CSM are in Solalinde. She is able to match up only three of the Milagros to the CSM but makes very little of her opportunities. On the whole, too elementary and too incomplete." |
