Snow 1977, no. 283: "A comment on the edition by Fernández Pousa (1958) of the Alfonsine loores; rightly says it does not deserve to be called critical. Includes a list of errors but does not catch them all. The author would like to see the eleven compositions denoted as "festas" included among the loores (a suggestion which surely deserves some further consideration). There is a note, the only reference I have seen, alluding to an edition of the CSM under preparation by Dámaso Alonso and to be published in Barcelona." |
