Notes from Snow 1977, no. 280rn"The authors draw attention to the Castilian prose notes in the margins of the first 25 CSM in Escurial MS T.j.l. The only one reproduced here is cantiga 24 (both the Galician poetic text and the Castilian prose). The prose seems to have been supplied from some independent source since the order of events, the changes in emphasis, and the additions and omissions will not support the idea that it is a translation of the verse text as given (of this cantiga, at least).
