Commentary:
Snow 2007: "Description of the BNM copy (=MS 10069) from Toledo, and of the hand copy of it made by Palomares in 1755 (this latter prepared for presentation to Bárbara de Braganza). The authors reject MS 10069 as the oldest surviving copy, stating some of the reasons adduced in Anglés's 1943 ed. of the transcriptions of the CSM. The historical notes on Palomares are of value even now. The black and white plate is of To 37 (= Mettmann 36)."
