Setting: Aragón Protagonist(s): a good servant

In Aragón there was a good man who served his lord faithfully.

Some slanderers spread lies about him.

His lord, not bothering to uncover the truth, ordered the man’s eyes to be gouged out.

After the man’s eyes had been put out, he asked to keep them and he made his way to a surgeon.

He asked the surgeon to put his eyes back and the doctor did so.

Then the man went to Salas to ask the Virgin to heal him and to pardon his sins. The Virgin healed him straightaway. It was impossible to detect his injury.
