Setting: Montserrat Protagonist(s): the monks of Montserrat

A stone broke loose at Montserrat and fell down the mountain.

It threatened to crush the church dedicated to the Virgin.

God deflected the stone and made it roll down gently to the ground.

The monks, hearing the noise while attending mass, prayed that their lives would be spared.

They went outside and saw the boulder that had been diverted.

They praised God and the Virgin.
