Some pilgrims were travelling to Montserrat.

One man befriended another.

When night fell, he stole money from his new friend’s purse.

In the morning, the pilgrims, having spent the night in the church, heard mass and departed.

The thief could not leave until he confessed his sin.

He returned the money.
