Snow 2007: "In his introduction [in Galician], F. V. examines Alfonso's attitudes towards Galicia (not always flattering), the use of Galician, and the presence of Galicians at court. The anthology has both CSM and profane poems. Most of the 11 CSM — each with a Galician connection — there is a black and white illustration on the miniature, plus the full set of captions and the musical transcriptions of Anglés [1943]. These are CSM 22, 77, 104, 184, 304, 317, 352, 94, 103, 26, and 175 [the texts as in the Mettmann ed.]. The secular lyrics are: Lapa 2, 150, and 305 (tensons), plus 19, 20, 3, 17, and l5 (misidentified as 20)." |
