A woman gave birth to several stillborn babies. She and her husband quarrelled about this. She bought some wax with her own money and made an image, promising to offer it to the Virgin. Nevertheless, she gave birth to four more dead babies. After bearing the last one, she asked the Virgin to pray to Christ to perform a miracle. The baby was restored to life. The mother took her infant son to Salas and placed the wax image in front of the altar. |
