Setting: unspecified Protagonist(s): a pregnant Jewish woman

A Jewish woman went into labour, but could not deliver her baby.

No medicine was effective and she lay in agony, crying and moaning.

She saw a great light, and a voice advised her to call on the Virgin.

She prayed to the Virgin, recovered her health and delivered a son.

Hearing her prayers, her Jewish attendants rebuked her and fled from the house.

After thirty days, the woman went to the church. She was baptised along with her newborn son and her daughter.
