Snow 1977, no. 150, rev. 2007: "This anthology of 34 cantigas was the result of the author's desire to make the CSM more accessible. Edition based on J.b.2, as was Valmar's (1889). A major difference seems to be Lapa's lack of hesitation in representing true palatals with the modern graphs -nh- and -lh- and in the use of accentuation to aid the reader. Cantigas appearing here are: 1, 2, 5, 8-10, 16, 20, 24, 36, 56, 70, 84, 94, 103, 128, 155-6, 200, 206, 211, 250, 260, 316, 322, 335, 351, 353, 369, 372-3, 340, 401, plus the mayas (Mettmann no. 406). An adequate glossary is included. A.F.G. Bell assesses this anthology in Revista de Filología Española 21 (1934), 194-5." |
